February 17th 2018 | Lagos, Nigeria

The event took place at the Hotels.ng office and started at about 12:15 pm with an introduction of the speakers.

The event started off with a session by Dave Partner, a crypto developer with over 2 years of experience in both crypto software development and trading. His session covered Bitcoin and Blockchain, Ethereum, Decentralized Autonomous Organizations, Securing Cryptocurrency Assets, and also covered some of the myths surrounding cryptocurrencies.

All attendees were given a pack containing a snack and a bottle of water after the first session.

The second session was presented by Abiodun Daniel Yusuf, a software developer, and active cryptocurrency trader. He shared his experiences covering how he got into Cryptocurrency trading, the various statistics backing the growth of cryptocurrencies all over the world, the challenges he encountered in active trading of cryptocurrencies and the steps an active trader needs to take to succeed.

The third and final session was presented by Akinbobola Akinola (the convener of the event), who had a Ethereum mining rig on premise and showed the audience how it works, the software and hardware required and how much the entire setup costed.

Afterwards, Akinbobola Akinola gave a vote of thanks and talked about the sponsors of the event (mentioning what they do and their website addresses).
